Rob is a Director and Advisor with a strong interest in the New Zealand food sector and community wellbeing initiatives.

Rob holds a degree in Applied Science from Massey University and is Director of LoftAg Ltd — a specialist provider of strategic advisory, connectivity and funding solutions for land based businesses and organisations — and Director of Little Beauties Ltd, a dried fruit business based in Nelson-Tasman.

Previously Rob spent over 15 years in commercial and agri banking. During this time he worked most closely with the Food and Beverage sector, connecting people across the sector and developing insights to support innovation, collaboration and investment. He remains committed to supporting diverse and accessible food systems, knowing these play a critical role in improving social, health, economic and environmental outcomes for our communities.

Rob has held Board roles for Life Education Trust NZ, Organics Aotearoa New Zealand, Eat New Zealand and Feast Marlborough, as well as advisory board roles to the MBIE Food & Beverage Information Project and Te Tauihu Intergenerational Strategy.

Today Rob lives on a 12ha mixed orchard and organic vineyard in the Nelson-Tasman region with his wife Niki and four children.
