
Ali Boswijk has been Chief Executive of the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce since 2019. Originally from Guernsey, she studied Business in London before working in international news and documentary production. After moving to Nelson, she served as a Nelson City Councillor and Deputy Mayor. Ali then spent seven years with World of WearableArt as Head of International Projects and Business Development.
Through her Chamber role, she contributed to the Intergenerational Strategy and supported the establishment of Mission Zero. Ali is Chair of the Nelson Festivals Trust, a member of the local FENZ Advisory Committee, and serves on the Minister’s Small Business Advisory Group. Ali is a member of the Advisory Group for the Te Tauihu Future Food Strategy working group.
